Bush Food Weekend:

This course is for anyone who has an interest in learning about our native plants, cooking, and tasting new flavors!
You will learn how to identify native edible and medicinal plants.
We will collect and prepare several local plants
You will learn how to cook new recipes by integrating indigenous foods into your “normal” cooking.

SKILLS COVERED: Identification of plants, tasting native foods, cooking with native foods.
COST: $200 – Tuition, materials and one night camping fee included in price.
ACCOMMODATION DETAILS: Bring your own food and camping equipment.

    A great course, suited to participants with all levels of bush experience. We learnt to identify a range of local native and introduced plants. Nikki, Jo and Sam’s knowledge, friendliness and flexibility made for a great weekend! Would recommend to all, particularly as a follow-up to consolidate and build on the “Wild 101” course.
