Course locations

We are based near Dungog NSW and we can travel anywhere.
Newcastle, Central Coast, Sydney, Singleton, Maitland, Dungog are our most common locations. We are happy to travel to you, so if you have a location, group, and course or skills in mind, great if you can get in touch with us.
Wildcraft Australia often joins forces with Wild Beings and Wangat Lodge to run programs too.
If you are far from the Dungog and Newcastle area – you make want to check out the following crew who also run great nature connection programs.
Northern NSW – Nature Philosophy Australia – Kate, Sam, Mahli and Talia.
South Coast NSW – Blue Gum Bush Craft – Lee and Gina
Melbourne – Nature’s Apprentice – Claire Dunn
Melbourne – Fire Keepers – Mel and Friends

Getting to a course:

We love Car Pooling:

So if you are driving and have spare seats, or if you require a lift, send an email to wildcraftaustralia@gmail.com. We will do our best to match people up. For anyone providing lifts, we trust that you are a safe and considerate driver. Most course locations are accessible by 2WD.

Public Transport:

Many of our courses can be accessed with public transport, sometimes with a pick up from a station eg Dungog Station. Sometimes it involves jumping on the kids school bus as well, which is an adventure in itself.

Biking:

If you have panniers, most course locations are accessible by public transport and bike. Most locations are quite doable with a normal mountain bike – usually a 20km ride or less from a station –  and now with Electric Bikes becoming more popular, that is also another great option if you want to smooth out the hills. For programs held in the Dungog area, bikes can be taken on the suburban train for no charge. Bikes can also be taken on the trainlink trains too, though they need to be boxed and there is a flat rate fee for them.

    Hi,

I have two daughters 14 & 19 & the 3 of us would love to learn some of your amazing bush skills. Is there any chance that you would put on a course in our neck of the woods (Bogangar 2488, near Kingscliff)?

Any chance of organizing a Tropical Far North Qld event for homeschoolers?
Our family (2 parents, 9y & 3y boys) would be one of a variety of people interested!

Absolutely! QLD is part of our plans for next year! If you would like to email us and let us know of a suitable location for you, or how far south you might be prepared to travel, and some dates that might be good, we will start planning a QLD visit!
