Knife Making Weekend Workshops

knife detailWORKSHOP: Learn to make a bush knife just like these yourself, making a blade out of scrap metal and a handle from native timber (all materials provided).

The final knife that you take home will be a bushcraft knife, the kind you can make out of materials and equipment found in the shed.
The blade will be strong, won’t snap and is easy to sharpen in the field.
The shape and styling is good for bush crafts, wood carving, skinning and general outdoor adventure.

LOCATION: The weekend course will be held at “cootaame” a private bushland  property  on Trevor Top Rd, in Monkerai, NSW .

You will need to bring your own camping equipment and food for main meals, and are welcome to arrive on Friday afternoon / evening.

Our next scheduled knife making course will be in 2016.
