10am to 2pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. First Week of the School Holidays
Note: There are spaces on Monday and Tuesday at the moment, only 2 spaces left for Wednesday
For ages 0 and up.
This is a new school holiday program where children and parents can have a day (or three) outdoors away from the usual distractions.
Each day involves outdoor activities for the kids including awareness games, nature activities, bush skills and more, with opportunity for light exercise for the adults.
Held near Bandon Grove, 20km north of Dungog.
There is unstructured time in the ‘farm’ section of the property where there time to eat, rest, play, do bush craft, balance, rest etc. Then we venture into the bushland for activities designed to connect children to their surrounding environment and nurture their sense of curiosity in a playful way.
Bring a small pack with snacks and/or lunch, water bottle and any personal items.
Price (for children 4 years and over): $50/first child/day, $45 for second child or second day, $40 for third child or third day. Children under 4 years: $20/child
Numbers are limited.
Families can camp overnight for $5 per person. BYO camping gear and food. Basic camping facilities available including a large shelter, rain water, fridge, gas cooker, bush loo.
Note: we normally have a bush shower set up but due to lack of recent rain, the creek may be the better option for washes (soap-free of course)
