For anyone who has an interest in bush craft, wilderness survival skills, developing bush confidence and a personal connection to natureTaking things right back to basics, we teach the skills necessary to go into the wilderness and draw all of our needs from nature. By directly engaging in nature for our very survival we make it relevant to us. This inspires a passion within us to learn more. Through a deeper understanding of the natural world we can gain a sense of our place within it and can develop a very real sense of belonging.
Learn the fundamental basics of natural weaving. You will collect local plants, learn how to process them into different weaving materials and then learn how to weave them into a basket, mat, or artwork. Your instructors have been taught traditional Australian weaving by women from Arnhem Land.
A camp for everyone of all ages. Come and experience living in a village and learning earth skills. Nature play, connection activities and bush skills for the kids each day. Workshops for adults. Communal dinners each night (provided). Family friendly event.
A weekend-long introductory course for ages 10 -105 which provides a detailed, hands-on experience with fire by friction, shelter, rope making, weaving, bush food, barefoot walking, nature immersion and bird language.
