This program is run by Wildcraft Australia and Wild Beings – a humble bunch of passionate humans who want to share their knowledge with those interested. By doing so there is a chance that these ancient skills can be passed on, practiced and perfected. We feel that these skills also help us remember what we are capable of, that nature helps us remember who we are and that the connections created help us to be the best person we can be.

The Aims of Wild 101

  • To be an enjoyable time in the outdoors with a focus on learning and practicing traditional bush skills.
  • To increase our knowledge of the natural world and our natural awareness through games and activities.
  • To practice skills in a variety of situations – as a group, small teams and solo – and in a variety of locations.
  • To be safe, supportive and work as a team.
  • To challenge ourselves, explore our limits and embrace new experiences.
